Chicken Madras

Madras is a fairly hot curry sauce, getting its reddish color from a heavy dose of chili powder. It originates in the south of india & gets its name from the city of madras (now chennai). Ours is sautéed w/ tender chunks of white breast meat & a dash of fresh lime juice, then finished off w/ a generous portion of chopped coriander & a bed of basmati. Slightly milder than the bhuna, keep the warmth at bay w/ our homemade naan bread

Shrimp Bhuna

Bhuna is, first & foremost, a cooking process where spices are gently fried in extra virgin olive oil to bring out their flavor. In our version—large shrimp, fresh bell peppers & tomatoes are added to the spices & then cooked in their own juices. Wonderfully aromatic, this is a robust curry w/ a thick sauce, perfect for the lover of exotic dishes. Medium spiced, but available extra spicy!

Chicken Tikka Masala (Ctm)

Certainly the most famous of all curries! according to legend, a frustrated Scotsman who felt his chicken tikka was too dry to eat, asked the chef to make a “gravy” for his dish. using a little ingenuity, the chef combined onion, garlic, heavy cream & tomato soup to unwittingly create what is officially know today as “the national dish of great britain”. ctms are mild & creamy, w/ marinated chunks of skewered chicken, served w/ a bed of basmati rice & warm naan bread
